A growing number of military friendly organizations are offering scholarships and other financial aid to active duty Service Members, former Service Members, and their dependants. Scholarships and financial aid are often based on need and merit, not just prior education.

The scholarships in the Scholarships & Financial Aid Explorer platform are particularly military friendly.

Before you begin your search, be sure that you understand the conditions of any agreements you sign. Educate yourself about scholarships and student loans by reading handbooks such as "Need a Lift". Also review the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) information about scholarship scams.
